Re: Voltage drop/charging issues

Adding to my previous post, No fuses have blown On ehu the voltage reads 12.6 at all sockets throughout the van When not on ehu the voltage drops to 10.06 at the same sockets, would this be a bad battery ?? Have check all connections within fuse panel and fuse box from leisure battery and all check ...

Re: Voltage drop/charging issues

Is the EHU not supposed to charge the batteries at all then just maintain the current charge??

What do you think is the cause of the voltage drop from battery to sockets??

Re: Petrol Webasto (V6)

Yes I did have a good look at those too, I read about the reliability of them and leaking gas/carbon monoxide into the van especially our small vans being a problem? Then again I suppose all the heaters could be problematic for our health if not fitted correctly.

Re: Petrol Webasto (V6)

Ahh yes I was coming to the conclusion this was not going to be a straightforward job.. when is it!!! I think a separate tank is the way to go.

A couple hours sitting in the van with my thoughts is needed I think!!

Thanks Dan

Re: V6 Head Gasket

Hello, Thank you for the reply, The mechanic said its possible the cylinder head is cracked due to the oil seepage through the gasket..? "It would need to be sent for a pressure test to be sure. I have asked for a compression test on all 6 cylinders and the sniff test to be carried out? If this...
