Re: Tyres losing pressure

Yes they are the Mazda ones - pretty messy inside when he stripped the tyres off. Sounds like a refurb is in order - unless I just revert to steels.

Tyres losing pressure

A couple of the tyres on our alloys keep slowly losing pressure. The local tyre depot said its rim corrosion and a common Mazda problem. They removed the tyres, cleaned the sh1t off from round the rims, smeared anti corrosion grease round and re-fitted. Unfortunately the problem hasn't gone away. Wh...

Problem checking oil on JAL conversion

Our recently bought JAL Superwide has a kind of jump seat behind the front passenger's fabricated from steel box section. Problem I have is that this is held in place by six bolts to floor and engine cover so access to the engine is virtually impossible - the passenger seat barely tips. Does anyone ...

Sterling Excel immobiliser

Our newly acquired machine has one of these fob type immobilisers. But only one fob! Naturally I'm petrified of losing it. I gather it's possible to get new ones but by programming them in tge old fob is rendered inoperative. As anyone done this? I don't want to try it and find the van completely im...

Cab beds for kids

Do these across the cab hammocks work in a Bongo (most seem to be advertised for VWs)? Would one be ok for a 4-yr-old? And does anyone have one they no longer need?

Children in r&r seats

We are on the brink of buying a used (2011) JAL side conversion but having last minute anxieties about the safety/usability of the rock and roll seat. I gather they are not crash tested but does that mean they are not safe? It's very hard to get some nailed down facts. The man at JAL says no Bongo s...
