Hi there
Thanks for the reply. Yeah I checked that site out but couldn't see the plain grey/silver strips that go along the bottom. That's all I'm needing.

New bottom side stripe decals
Hi there
I've been trying to remove the Decals on my bongo as they were old and scrappy looking.
So far it's been a pain as it's like they are lacquered on. I'm looking at getting replacements. I only want to replace the grey strip along the bottom to keep it nice and plane. I've looked online but ...

Re: V6 petrol not starting
Okay will get it looked into. Was out all day in it and it ran fine. Definitely seems to be it's cold or damp/wet and particularly in the morning.
Thanks for the advice guys, I appreciate it.

I'm not sure about them. What's the best way to check all of these? Sorry I'm not the best when it comes to mechanics

Re: V6 petrol not starting
Yeah the starter is turning over fine. It's just bizarre as when I go to start it in the morning it won't start.

Re: V6 petrol not starting
Okay update on the situation.
Fitted new spark plugs on Thursday and it started fine. It also started fine yesterday afternoon. Then go to start it this morning and not starting again!! Waited till lunchtime and it started.
My mechanic doesn't think it can be the HT leads as it's not running ...

Re: V6 petrol not starting
Hi Geoff
Thanks for the reply. Yeah I'm thinking it must be that as there is oil on the outside of the rocker cover. My neighbour is servicing it tomorrow so will ask him to try and get it sorted. Hopefully it won't be too expensive. I'm eager to get away for the weekend but want to get everything ...

Hi
I noticed that's there is oil in some of the spark plugs. Obviously I can take them out and clean or replace them but what is causing the oil to get in there? Thanks

V6 petrol not starting
Hi there
I recently purchased a V6 Bongo.
When the weather is cold or damp/wet the engine won't start. I've fitted a new battery so it's definitely not that. The engine starts and runs fine on a nice warm dry day. Can anyone help me out here? I'm planning on going away for the weekend in it but can ...

Re: Removing Decals
Okay I'll give it a bit more work with the toffee wheel and heat gun and see how I get on. Think the process is just super time consuming.

Re: Removing Decals
Hi
Thanks for the reply.
That could quite possibly be the answer as they are proving to be a nightmare. Any suggestions on the best way to get them off?
Thanks

Re: Enough Room?
Hi there
Okay that's great, thanks for all the advice. The roof seems like it will be perfect for me :D
I'm going to look at one on the weekend and the owner seems very knowledgeable and has looked after it, hopefully this turns out to be the case.
I'll check all the usual places for rust but I ...
