I can find stuff for the other v6 motors etc. Anyone have any contacts? I want to get my spare engine rebu...

Re: Anyone done STP EZ Chill DIY air con top up ?

Also if you do do-it-yourself, be aware that the gas is really nasty stuff. You don’t want to get it on yourself or breath it in!!! Thats why the cans have a deposit & have to be returned. A full can of ez chill will get you a decent functioning and pretty cold A/C system, enough to get you out...

Re: Enough Room?

Me, wife and 4 year old manage fine in our Wellhouse converted Bongo. The aft easily has room for 2 average sized people. 75kg each and under 6ft lol. The rock n roll bed is cozy but can manage. Perfect for one plus little one. What I will say is they are so much fun. My IG username is hadzhonda and...

Losing a little compression there too, remove, copperslip, re fit and torque. Should sort it.

Re: Front engine oil leak 2.5 TD

Might be a cam seal issue. Clean it off with brake cleaner or degreaser and then try and trace the origin. It's hard to tell with oil everywhere etc...Marc

Re: Soot from Vent on Turbo Heat Shield

Either one of the manifold gaskets is leaking, or the mani is cracked. That leak will cause the turbo to lose efficiency and spool later also. Trace the leak. Marc

Re: Poor starting when hot,

May also be worth running on a separate gravity fed drum of diesel directly to the pump inlet to rule out air ingress or vacuum issues. That way you are sure it's the pump and it's clearances. Just a thought.

Re: best awning for bongo's

Not trying to divert business away from the club shop, but my Outdoor Revolution Cayman was only slightly more than £200 and has the option of a clip-in double sleeping compartment. Uses glass fibre poles rather than air tubes so is possibly lighter. With storm straps added to it it has withstood s...

Ours is a webasto airtop 200 or summat. It's great. I'd fit yourself as there's not that much too it. If you want any pics etc let me know.

Just put mine on and cut one of them them down to size, they are a light grey colour so match the Sunlight Silver paint-ish, off out this evening for an overnight wild camp will see how the awning gets on. I am reluctant to glue the Fig 8's on at the moment see how much they move about. I tried min...
