Re: How does this look??

Can be worth having an AA inspection or RAC, I was always dubious about them, but a prospective purchaser had one done on mine today. I was impressed he knew his way around Bongos and was surprised by mine, he actually said if someone is after a Bongo they won't find a better one 😎 He went over the ...

"If a cat was fitted at the time of manufacture then it must be fitted at the time of inspection."

That doesn't mean it has to be tested, just present.

Re: How can I protect my new exhaust/catalytic converter from being stolen again??

As you have a pre September 2002 you don't need a cat so can just put a piece of pipe in to replace the stolen cat, as the Bongo should have a non cat test at mot time 🚐

Re: Quality wiper blades ?

I got mine from Mazdabongo.com posted out with my service parts 🚐 BongoBongo123 the Halfords own wiper blades were made by Bosch but Halfords staff always push the Bosch as more expensive or supposedly better  A good tip is to get potatoe peeling and wipe the inside of it up and down the blade...

LED bulbs are not legal for external use as they are not e marked so can lead to vehicle rectification notices etc

Re: Replacement Door Speakers

These JVC CS J620X speakers will fit straight in using the original mounts, just trim the plastic around the speaker, remove the screws and pull the speaker off. Trim it flat and fit the new speakers. They are pretty good speakers and only £20 🚐

Re: E10 Petrol: Have You Used It?

I was thinking I should have said weights and measures officer but TS is easier 🀣 but I haven’t seen her this week. Today the person was told in that esso station that its up to 10% when talking to them about E10 so I guess E5 5% would be classed as up to 10% #-o but as they were handing out leaflet...

Re: E10 Petrol: Have You Used It?

I doubt that very much, it is totally illegal to put false information on a forecourt fuel pump (EMC) especially of this nature, doing so could se the proprietor losing there Petroleum License and a very hefty fine even a Custodial sentence . I know of a garage in Devon with the labels on but still...

Re: Diagnose more V6 emissions? (CO,but Lambda seems fine) DON'T DELETE

Perhaps try a different Testing Station ? I have stuck with them because I thought it looks better on my MOT history when I sell it which I have been threatening to do the last two years πŸ™„ so this years MOT had a full emissions test again which also shows that it's running right doesn't it 🚐 I know...

Re: Sony XAV-AX1000

There should be a setting for the reversing light sensing, I know on my pioneer I had to switch it on, then next line set it to battery so I would have a look in the settings or the book
