Yes, it's the box next to the air filter housing. Try unplugging it first and see if that improves the running. The ECU will use default values.

Re: 2.0i litre petrol 1999 Camshaft position sensor 12v.
I had similar symptoms on my 2L. Turned out it was the mass airflow sensor. I tried cleaning it initially, but that didn't work. Ended up replacing it with a pattern part as the OEM ones are silly money. It's been running perfectly ever since.

Re: Bongo Wiring Manuals
That's great, thanks. I'm after the pins for the cam and crank position sensor outputs to start with. I'm pretty sure I've identified them using an oscilloscope, but would like to confirm. Looks like we have a match

Re: Bongo Wiring Manuals
Hi.
I'm looking for the ECU harness pin out or if that's not available the pin out for the 2L distributor wiring (2003). Is this available anywhere please?
Working on a little project...
Thanks!

Re: Replacing interior lights with LED
Yup, you can use a festoon LED replacement in the rear door light. Just make sure you get a decent one with built in heatsink. Some are too fat though and don't fit.
T5 LED replacements will not fit the later Bongos with the U shaped neon tubes.

Re: Replacing interior lights with LED
An update to this. The panels I originally linked to started to burnt out within 6 months. The usual over bright eBay crap.
I then switched to these, which have a built in heatsink. They are still running fine 18 months later.

Re: Split Charge Relay kits - warning!
I eventually found my VSR mounted under the driver seat wired into the alternator. Feeds to fridge etc were fused, but no fuse up to the LB. Pretty shocking. I fitted one sharpish!

Re: Leisure battery fit in new shape 2L petrol
I managed to source a low profile 110Ah one in the end. A snug fit, but gives me loads of capacity.

Re: LED Bulb Replacement Problem
I find the information on the Motoring Assist website more worrying and it echoes what I'd heard from other sources. Namely, if you are involved in an accident and have been found to have modified the lighting on your vehicle, then you may be in hot water. Also, your insurance company may void your ...

Re: LED Bulb Replacement Problem
It's very badly worded isn't it. It goes on to say "Where HID or LED dipped beam headlamps are fitted, switch on the headlamps and check the operation of any headlamp levelling and cleaning devices fitted" and a reason for failure of "A headlamp levelling or cleaning device inoperativ...

Re: LED Bulb Replacement Problem
Thanks for the info. Have you successfully found any LEDs that survive in the dashboard console? A point to note on LED or HID headlights. They are only legal if the vehicle is fitted with a self levelling system. It's a specific check on the MOT. Any tester worth their salt will know Bongos don't h...
