I think they've got it covered all ways up. Unconverted it's an 8-seater (minibus), without rear seats it's a car-derived van, and as a camper it's a motorcaravan. Mine is classed as motorcaravan (body type) and PLG (tax class) on the V5.

Don't forget that by 'Manchester' they mean the whole of ...

Can you not get Bongy reregistered as an MPV as it would have been on import....that way there will be no charge for driving in GM

Wondered if someone could talk me through replacing the passenger door window (lowering one) glass....
Someone broke into my van by breaking the window so need to replace to secure vehicle.

Been a few months now and quiet a bit of work done on Ed...some by choice some by necessity so in no particular order...

New alternator belts fitted (only had one)
Aircon re gassed, belt fitted (bearings are a bit loud so may be in the market for new aircon pump)
Low level coolant alarm fitted ...

Not solar panel but same idea of connecting into rear 12v socket

I know you can get some jump start thing that connects into sockets of dead battery car and running car (charges the dead battery)

New to the forum, got myself a Bongo (Ed) last week... Silver tin top, unconverted 2.5 diesel, now learning all about it.
Couple of mods planned just getting the bits together:-

Fit remote central locking
Swap ccts from main to leisure battery
Fit low coolant level alarm
apply some decals ...
