Re: My Insurance Renewal 2019-Beware Folks
Just renewed Insurance with LV as part of multi-car policy - £198 fully comp, protected NCD, 5000 miles per year. No breakdown or replacement vehicle. Previous brokers (Lancaster) who were doing policy with LV, were quoting £390 plus £50fee!

Re: Rust above gutter line on side of roof ?
Thanks for that. Been having some arch and sill work done on my beloved Beryl by Bongo Spares in Sowerby, and how to do the smallish roof patches was a discussion point. I believe they have ended up sanding, kurusting and filling .. I'd be a lot happier if there is waxoyl inside too ... otherwise it...

Re: Rust above gutter line on side of roof ?
Interested to see how these previous roof repairs are bearing up after 2 years .... Any comments? I've had rust spots like that along the spot welds in the gutter (treated them with jenolite then primer and spraycan - not ideal, as all done outside, in a tent :~) but also a couple of holes on the ne...

Re: How much for a full respray & rear wheel arch replacement?
Interesting to see the respray/rust/wheelarch discussion from 2015... How did all your repairs/resprays turnout? Has the rust been held at bay? I spent last two summers trying to keep on top of the first bits of rust here and there. Gutters (spotweld points) were stripped, jenolited, primed and spra...

Re: Fitting a fuel computer ....
Thanks for all your comments and advice folks. Keep them coming ..... Yes, I know the simplest thing is paper and pencil  but I fancied a wee project to get my hands dirty and understand some of the workings a bit better. Still pondering if I can get some kind of basic usable info from the tac...

Fitting a fuel computer ....
Completely new to this, so please treat me gently ...... Just got a 2nd hand 1998 2.5D AFT and was looking (as a first project) to fit a Reveltronics Universal Trip Computer (UTCOMP)., so I can monitor mpg, fuel use, put in temperature and voltage alarms etc....etc....
