Re: New Bongonauts.
Thanks Geoff,
That's very reassuring.
I agree it best not to run right down to the last few drops.
We can now happily use the Fuel Gauge as an approximate indicator but will be sure not to run past the 500 kilometer mark after each fill-up.
Cheers

Re: New Bongonauts.
Thanks Ian.
Bought an Owner's Manual as suggested.
Its answered many questions.
One thing is that it states that the Fuel Tank has a 65 Ltr, Capacity. Is this always the case ?

New Bongonauts.
We have just completed the first 1000 miles in our new Bongo.
She is a 2006 model Aero Top 2000cc Petrol Automatic.
MPG is always a concern as we plan a few extended European Tours so will do our best to drive as economically as possible.
Have taken all the obvious steps to keep things affordable ...

Re: Registration Plates
Thanks Bob,
Yes it seems there are various 'regular sizes' available off-the-shelf. I have seen cars with larger than standard rear plates which fill the whole space available.
Will continue my search and will be use to abide by the relevant BS requirements.
Thanks again

Re: Newbies!
Thanks a million for that it's eassy peassy now I know.
What seems straightforward for the young and intelligent can sometimes be very hard for a thicko, especially one just short of his 70th year.
However all is well now.

Registration Plates
Hope someone out there can help.
We are looking for someone to make up a pair of Registration Plates for our NEW* Bongo.
The FRONT is fairly straightforward as it's a nice regular Rectangle.
The REAR however is a bit more complicated, we want to fill the whole of the recess. It will need to be ...
