Thanks for that. No time, hence spoke with garage and they reassured me.

Re: Torque converter clutch solenoid
Thanks all. Checked fluid, level good and looks/smells normal. Spoke with local Bongo garage who say likely to be solenoid but not to worry if no symptoms. Planning to do my 2 week trip in France next week and book it in for a look on return. I don't fancy the solenoid change myself having watched v...

Torque converter clutch solenoid
Hi folks Going on a long-ish trip to France in my van in 6 days and am trying to ascertain whether I'm likely to encounter trouble. Thanks to Geoff and Julian via FB who have helped with this so far. Problem: flashing hold light. No symptoms, drives as smoothly as at purchase 2 years ago (2000 V6). ...

Diagnostic flash codes 2000 V6 ?OBD2
Please can anyone help? Hold light flashing after about 10 mins running. Doesn't come on before this from a start, I think even if the engine is warm. Running well and recently passed MOT. I followed the pin/light protocol on the Phil McFadden website and got some flash codes for engine malfunction...

Re: Solar panel advice
This has all got me a bit worried about the life of my [new last year] 110 Ah LB, as I have a standing load of 0.3A coming of the LB and solar charging. My Willington-type loom runs straight off the solar controller's load terminals. I must confess I don't know exactly what runs off this as the fuse...

Re: Solar panel advice
FWIW my experience with similar kit has been good over the past year. 100W semiflexi panel with Sunpower cells (whatever this actually means!) from Renytek.co.uk 10A MPPT controller (Tracer 1215BN) from Bimble Solar Paid a little more for each component compared with than the ones you linked to, but...

Thanks everyone. The radio is a Pioneer FH-X720BT, for what it's worth...
I have recently installed a 100w panel on the roof so should have plenty of PV activity to offset this drain and prevent flatting the LB on the driveway, even in the depths of winter (I hope?!)

I don't have remote central locking or an immobiliser fitted. Does it sound as though there's a problem somewhere?

Re: Above-windscreen storage console
I've seen pictures of those shelves in the Berlingo and this is exactly the sort of thing I'm after! But not really appropriate as a DIY solution, as some have implied. Thanks for the link to the Aussie site, I had seen this already in my searches - plus a load of solutions for those wishing to have...

Mystery 300 milliamps...
I've just changed my electrics around a little so that everything in the van comes off the solar controller's load terminals - mainly so that my smart little meter plugged into the solar controller can tell me income vs expense real-time! Now when I say "everything in the van", all I have ...

Dehumidifier recommendations
Hi folks, Just got back from a great 10 days in the Bongo with wife and the little one. Camping conditions got a little damp towards the end so thinking about drying out the van to prevent mould in AFT. Does anyone have a recommendation for dehumidifiers? They can get pretty expensive so appreciate ...
