Good idea, I did ask at a garage near me in mid wales and they offered 300, I suppose it is better than scrap.
Just seems such a waste. Especially with the electric roof and good engine.
I will try a couple more garages.

Breaking Freda/bongo
I have a ford freda/mazda bongo which currently needs the new wheel arches we have bought welded and a new radiator. It runs lovely and we have been quoted £700 for the work it needs. It passed the MOT last year and the only advisories were that it had "sligh" rusting on back wheel arches ...
