Does anyone know if Mazda 323 from fog lights fit the same recess as the Bongo? They look a similar size on the pictures but it's hard to tell with fitting one into the space.

They can only really go in one place. As a general rule when do anything with suspension or brakes, it's a good idea to do one side at a time so you have the other side for reference when it comes to putting it all back together (although it typically is a mirror image of the other side).
