Re: Glawning.......
The look lovely and as much as I would love to hang out in one the thought of putting up a bell tent at every pitch makes me want to cry. Which is why I have a Cubo Breeze!

Re: Confused about steering wheels
That looks great! I have been toying with the idea of a wooden wheel as I think they look ace. I like your wooden look dash surround as well.

Re: A bit controversial?
Tbh I would prefer electric blinds, I tell myself the manual blinds are great as less to go wrong but the electric blinds never seem to go wrong so I think I am only fooling myself. It is a pain having to close each blind individually and they do have a tendency to pop open as some of the end block ...

Re: Confused about steering wheels
That's excellent to hear. The other thing I have heard concerns about is clearance over the control stalks so your hands don't bash them while steering.
How dished is your wheel Helen? Would you be able to post a pic so I can get an idea of how it looks once change please?
Thanks Mike

Re: House move
We have the gull wings and I use the van all the time to move big items of furniture and therapy equipment (my wife and I run a children's therapy clinic) . It's probably the biggest barrier (and cost) to getting the van converted what an amazing vehicle!

Re: Confused about steering wheels
Thanks Helen, I'll give it a try. I have seen a couple of threads with you talking about your wheel, did you have to modify your boss to get the indicators to work?

Re: A bit controversial?
The whole Mazdaspeed kit looks great. Though this thread got me thinking, are there any other differences between the Bongo and the Freda other than the front grille, the steering wheel and the badges on the back?

Confused about steering wheels
HI, I have read loads of posts on here about replacing your steering wheel and now I am slightly confused. I have a '95 Freda with no airbag, the wheel is falling apart so I am looking to replace it. I have looked in to various options and I think the easiest and most cost effective is to replace wi...

Re: New to all things Bongo
HI, We have two kids (3 & 7) and an unconverted Ford Freda 2.5td. We did quite a lot of camping before we got the van (I think one year we spent a total of 30 nights camping over the year) however we got fed up with always having to load the 4x4 up with tent etc and the take an hour at the other...

Re: Dutch ovens
My wife was give one of these by our South African friends for her birthday. They call it a Potjie Pot. We are yet to use it, though plan to next weekend. I also have a tripod grill thing with a fire pit that can be used as a bbq or over a fire or with a fire in the raised pit. It was also a birthda...
