TLC on bodywork

Hi, I have a bongo that’s starting to look a bit unloved on the body, few scratches, rush starting to show up. I want to spend some money on it now before it gets worse . I know it will never be perfect but want to get it so it will last a few more years and so it doesn’t go downhill. I can’t get an...

Winter tyres

Hi, I’ve no experience of using winter tyres but wondering if I need them (just also exploring getting the van moved to a 4WD), do people use 2 sets of tyres or 2 sets of wheels and tyres they swap over? Or are all season tyres ok?? Sorry I’m a bit clueless with all this so would appreciate some tip...

Converting a 2WD to a 4WD

Hi, we’ve got a diesel bongo 2WD, and moved into the country where the roads can be a bit icey and at the moment basically we are snowed in, I know you can buy 4WD but do you know if you can get the van converted from a 2WD to a 4WD, it is a big job, I don’t think I’d be up for it myself we are in S...

Bongo friendly garage near or in Godalming

Hi there, are there any garages or mobile mechanics that you'd reccomend nearby? I have used 321 in the past but I'd really like to find someone nearby. It looks like I've got a dodgy batttery and or alternator so I assume a specialist is less important but would like someone that someone has used i...

Drive away awning, recommendations

Hi, we had a bit of a disaster with our easycamp Silverstone awning this weekend, it didn't cope with the wind and rain well at all. I was thinking I should invest in something a bit more sturdy, Does anyone have any reccomendations? It has to be easy and quick to put up, capable of handling rain an...
