Re: Rear seat - stitch removal?

Good point, thanks - I think our chap had tons of them stacked out the back, although I think he sells them! Maybe a less-than-saleable one...?

Rear seat - stitch removal?

I know you can have the stitching removed from the rear seats to make them flatter for a more comfortable "bed" - has anyone had this done? Or better still, done it themselves? Because that's what I'd prefer to do, if it's not a hugely technical job; any tips & hints would be very welc...

Re: Views on mid conversions

Mine's a mid-conversion from Southern Bongos, and we love it for picnics, although we've yet to camp in her thanks to a combination of weather & family circumstances. However I bought her for a slightly different reason to most; she's my work van! I do a number of "pop-up" markets &...

Re: Charging gadget needed, don't know the name to look for!

Thanks all! The reason I'd prefer to take the chargers off the solar supply is because we spend anything up to a week camped & trading in farmer's fields - no possibilty of hook-up, and very little of being off-pitch & running the engine to re-charge the leisure battery during daylight hours...

Re: Charging gadget needed, don't know the name to look for!

Sorry, vanished for a bit to look after 89 y.o. mother. The MPPT is by Epsolar, and here are two pics of the set-up, the second showing the little sockets at the bottom on the right. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v294/deMylistrahil/aa3ad6fe-8c89-4273-92f7-c73cb9126882_zps7tj25osh.jpg http://img....

Re: Roll Call for South Wessex

Hi all, newbie Bongonaut here, now driving - as a work van! Don't do that much mileage, but do need to camp, for shows/festivals - a smart '98 TD AFT mid-conversion in white over silver with blue decals, bought a month ago from Kevin at Southern Bongos. Living in east Dorset; you may spot me & m...

Charging gadget needed, don't know the name to look for!

Hello all! Newbie, pretty much non-technical Bongonaut here. I've had her for nearly a month now and am enjoying myself immensely, even though I bought her mainly as a work van. She's a '98 TD, fresh import, with a Southern Bongos upgraded mid conversion, to which they added a solar panel with MPPT ...
