Underseal / Waxoyl Garage
I am looking to get my Bongo under sealed I might have a go at it myself but know it is a messy job. I wondered where people have gone to get this done in Scotland. I am based in Edinburgh but travel around a lot so flexible where I could go to get this done. Edinburgh , Glasgow Aberdeen and in betw...

Re: Front vent air flow
Thanks for sharing that link I will have a go at cleaning the matrix as per the link. We are on holiday at the moment though so will be a couple of weeks before I get to it. Fortunately it isn't too warm where we are!

Front vent air flow
The air flow from the front vents in my bongo seems very poor when the display is showing to be flowing to my face. However I have checked the rods in the footwell and they are connected, I have checked the door/flap in the air intake is working and it changed when I switch the recirculate button on...

Re: What awning footprint size should I get?
Thanks for the tips. I have now bought a 2nd hand easy camp Sebring 200 off gumtree to get me started and will see how it goes. I can always sell it again without losing anything if decide I would prefer a different size awning.

What awning footprint size should I get?
Hi, I am looking to purchase an awning (probably an olpro breeze model) but not sure what size to get and what size will be accepted by campsites. It will be used for 1 or possibly 2 children to sleep in, storage and eating. We mostly camp for 1 to 2 nights at one place before moving on.

Re: Hold light on bongo cut out.
You could try taking it to campers Scotland in Grangemouth they are bongo specialists and do servicing and repairs as well as retail. Train station is nearby.

Re: Storage boxes/bed base
Thanks for the suggestion of the plastor boxes too. I ended up getting a couple of the hobby craft boxes as I was passing one of their stores . Should be okay for supporting my air bed.

Re: Self inflating mattress with rear conversion
Hmm, I have ordered a Coleman comfort air bed but didn't check the height ( just checked width and length) Now looked and it says it is 17 cm which might be a bit high on top of the seats! It is in the post to me know though.

Happy with my mpg
After all the posts about terrible mpg I read before I got my bongo I have been surprised by the actual mpg. I Have done 284 miles on dual carriageway in my 2.5td 4wd auto at between 60 & 70 mph and got 33.5 mpg. I don't particularly try and drive economically but this seems the natural speed fo...

Mostly on my phone as I work away a lot where I can't get wifi. Forums to me are more in depth and serious, whereas Facebook is generally 'lighter' content.
