Re: Odometer stopped working

Thanks Geoff

Yes, I’ve tried that - no joy. I suspected a new odometer unit would be required, so will get it sorted before the season starts in earnest.

Cheers

Re: Odometer stopped working

Hi Geoff,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, all other instruments including speedometer are working. I zeroed out the trip meter when I reset it, but the odometer is stuck on 67,402 kilometres, so no significant "click over" as far as numbers are concerned.

Odometer stopped working

Hi all, A question. I recently filled up the Bongo, and reset the trip meter. It stopped working immediately, along with the odometer. I've done the usual things to get it going, by pushing and pulling the reset button, and even took the instrument panel off to check the back. I checked the cogs of ...

Re: JAL imports waiting time

Give Phil a call, and ask him for a current stock list. He does carry plenty in stock, so he may well have one to hand that would suit you. You could always choose to get it converted elsewhere if time was important. He does supply good vehicles.

Re: Jalimports

Yes, Phil repaired the dents and scuffs and did an excellent job of painting them - not an easy colour to get right on a respray. Yes I had the mesh ventilation. I asked for it on the optional extras sheet that you will be asked to complete. No problem having it. It really helps. No hi-tops viewed. ...

Re: Jalimports

I bought mine from Phil one year ago. She was listed by Phil as a 3.5 to 4. When I saw her, she had a couple of dings in bumpers and inside, looked like a venue for a soy sauce food fight. All of these issues were corrected by Phil, as promised, by the time I picked her up. She was transformed compa...

Re: Welsh Bongo Bash 2017

As first timers at this year's Welsh Bash, we would like to extend our thanks to all attendees, who made our trip memorable and such fun. A big thanks to David, our "next door neighbour" , and Jen and Ray to our left, who were such good company and fun to be around. We will definitely be b...

Re: Underseat plastic storage boxes

We bought 2 x 18 litre clip top boxes from The Range, made by "The Really Useful Box Company" for the wide side, and 2 x Ikea "Samla" boxes for the narrow side. I guess it's personal choice, but they fit well enough and suit us. We've just come back from a 4 night trip, and the 1...

Totally agree. Not for the first time, an ill thought out decision. Quite honestly wonder what planet these so-called leaders are on.

Re: Newbie - so many questions

Remember you really need some for the 4 side windows as well as a cab set and tailgate window one. The standard blinds neither insulate nor give blackout Mike, my 4 side windows have dark tints plus factory fit electric blinds. Why would you need additional? I've just got the 4 piece set for windsc...

Re: Newbie - so many questions

Call a company called Van X in Stoke. I got mine from there last year for £40 for the set (slight seconds). They fit the bill perfectly and are a hell of a lot cheaper than some sellers. I don't have the number - look them up on Google. You will have to phone them up and ask if they have some in sto...
