Re: HELP! Rear boot door jammed closed!
Hi thanks, the straps (thin webbing straps) are all on the inside boot still and still won’t budge even when cut - feels like they’re tangled in the lock mechanism and they won’t pull through... think I may have to remove boot door panel from inside if lock can be reached to untangle it? Any other i...

Hi can anyone out there please help?! I’ve managed to somehow get a bag’s straps caught in the rear boot door latch mechanism when shutting it, now it’s jammed solid shut & I can’t open the door. #-o Locking & unlocking has no effect with the key, or the indoor or outdoor handle. The bag str...

Re: V6 Rocker Cover Gasket Leak onto HT Leads
Hi thanks, will do, bongo has recently started to missfire slightly so thought that may be the cause - we've replaced new spark plugs and checked the rest of the HT leads for any damage but they seem OK visually...?

Re: V6 Oil Leak Under Rocker Cover....? Deeply confused
Thanks for the Rocker cover torque specs, that's great am guessing it's a 14mm socket? As the torque's so low I suppose a bike torque wrench would the way to go maybe? Just didn't want to over tighten them! Cheers

V6 Rocker Cover Gasket Leak onto HT Leads
Hi, Just after some advice... Our 2002 V6 Bongo rocker cover weeps a little oil, we discovered a little oil dripping down onto a couple of the HT leads but we’d thought we’d try and sort it out. Firstly, does anybody out there have a service manual for the Petrol V6 2.5L J5 Bongo (2002) and know wha...

How to change the Air Filter in V6 Petrol Bongo?
Hi, Can anyone advise on the process of replacing an air filter in a New shape 2002 V6 2.5L Petrol Bongo - is it easy to do myself? I believe it is a flat oblong type filter rather than the round filters for this model - and is the filter found under the bonnet rather than under the seat? Any advice...

Re: Rear fog light (V6)
Hi, thanks for all your swift help and answers to the fog light bulb solution! After a bit more research, I think the original clear reversing bulb is possibly a 12V 18W 10mm wedge fitting type in the new shape bongos, like Simon pictured. However, I can't seem to find any red bulbs anywhere that wo...

Rear fog light (V6)
Any ideas on what bulb number/ wattage/ size / bayonet or wedge fitting, is needed to replace/ convert a rear clear reverse light bulb into a legal red fog light in the rear drivers side cluster (on a new shape 2002 V6 Aero Bongo - so red tape doesn't have to be stuck over it on the outside!). Any a...
