I bought mine unconverted from JAL, from stock. It took about 6-8 weeks until it was ready to collect. I'd think carefully about plunging straight into a conversion.

That's meeee! There is still 15% off tickets for Camper Calling if anyone is interested. It was a great little festival last year and you could camp where you like in the grounds of Ragley Hall.

Depends on how cold it is outside. It was cold sleeping in my bongo at the weekend, even with a oil filled radiator on all night. Other times it is quite toasty without heating. :)

I have reserved a bongo with Jal in Worcester (though I live in Cornwall ). Phil recommends having an external water supply ... I'd take what Phil recommends with a pinch or salt, take your time and make up your own mind what will suit you. :) I've got 2 water containers under my sink, one for fres...

There is something like this in my OH's Berlingo Multispace - basically a shelf, with a lip to stop stuff rolling off, above the windscreen.
