Re: Urgent help please - benji only starting with easy start

PS Having a great dilemma as to whether it is worth spending £1080 on Benji being that the vehicle only cost me £1795 in the first place as it is old and a tin top. I contacted the conversion company and they would strip out and refit a new bongo for only £500.

Should I therefore be buying a more ...

Re: Urgent help please - benji only starting with easy start

Well, a few weeks on - due to me having flu!!! Benji is in the garage and they are saying that it is the diesel pump leaking again. I had one o-ring replaced by a different garage at the end of last year. They are recommending replacing with a 12 month guaranteed pump at £600 plus vat plus labour ...

Re: Flattened bench seats -v- rock n roll bed for comfort

My friends Mercedes campervan rock n roll bed has a lovely deep ...

Re: Water after raining in driver's footplate

Thanks for that but I did consider the schematics but can't see(or work out) how the water gets from the window through the door to the holes - I guess it is separate to the electrical wiring but not sure how. I love fiddling but like to know where to start!

I am lying in my bongo in a field as I ...

Water after raining in driver's footplate

Hope someone can help.

When I purchased benji, the paintwork under and next to the driver's footplate (thing you step on when you hoist yourself in) was rusty, and the driver's seat was spotted with rust. He had only been used for 1700 miles in two years and had been stood around lots so I put it ...
