It all sounds a tad confusing. If I use a pair of mole grips to keep the little rod that goes from the vacuum to the turbo in the middle the van goes brilliantly. Is this likely to cause any problems. In my mind it's just keeping it the way it sits before it gets hot & moves and stops the boost?

Hi there.
We've had our 2000 2.5td 4x4 auto Bongo for about a year. Apart from being an awesome thing it has one fault that I can't seem to get anyone to understand or fix!!!
When it's cold it goes like the clappers. When it warms up the turbo seems to stop working
