Re: Cabin heater issues

Thank you, Bongolia! I'll check the thermostat tomorrow morning. Played with different modes/temperature levels etc today and found that if I set blowing to my feet, the air is all nice and warm, in auto regime it automatically goes into feet mode and so the warm air is blown. However, from those ho...

Was it difficult to get to the sensor?..

Re: Rear vs side conversion -storage space?

Oh no, Yan!! I can relate to how disappointing it was!:-( I had made so many mistakes like this when was converting my Renault Kangoo into a micro campervan that since I bought an already converted Bongo, I really don't want to do any diy on it... And yes, swivelling is a great concept but not for B...

Re: Rear vs side conversion -storage space?

Wow , that sounds such a simple question but very difficult to answer. It really depends on the converter I think, some make much better use of the hidden spaces on the Bongo than others and then there is how do you camp and what you carry of course. I looked at the North Star site but it looks a b...

Re: Cabin heater issues

We had a similar question and the good news is that your dash vents are working as Mazda intended. Here's a link to our post where Jimmo62 answers the question... http://igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=71475 Thank you vicksplace! It is too late for me to try it out now as I am i...

Re: Cabin heater issues

Right, I think I may be a on different page here. :) Ignis, is your vehicle fitted with the automatic AC panel that gives a digital read out or do you select fan speed via a rotary knob? Sorry, Bongolia, didn't realise they were answers here on the forum... I have an automatic AC panel. Drove to Br...

Re: Cabin heater issues

Hi Ignis. I too would be interested in the solution to this as I have exactly the same issue on my 2.0 ltr. I dont believe it is coolant related more likely a temp sensor. I haven't had the time to look into it and the weather being as it is its not a problem. I am wondering is your rear heater is ...

Re: Cabin heater issues

Well, I can only guess, whether it was bled properly or not, but I've used this particular garage for the past four years, they are quite reputable in Central London and honest. So I'd hope...

Cabin heater issues

Hello everyone, I've got an issue with my cabin heater and would appreciate your advice. The heater would only blow very hot air at 32C, 0.5C less and it will be just warm and it will stay warm no matter what you do till you get to about 19C, when it blows cool air. The ventilator works fine, differ...

Rear vs side conversion -storage space?

I now have a Bongo with rear conversion by North Star, but I don't like that I have to have a couple of bags and couple of plastic boxes always on view when I travel and park (when in a campsite, I open up a roof and store everything upstairs). I'd prefer everything being neatly stored in cupboards ...

Which skylight?

Hi, I am thinking to replace a skylight in my Bongo. So far I have an old-style one, like the ones they used in caravans ages ago. I was thinking about Fiamma which would go nicely flat with the roof. But what is the max size I can go for? Ideally I'd like to see though the glass (at present it is n...

Re: Switzerland: camping in December - question

I think to leave my Bongo in one camping in Switzerland for one or two weeks and then explore the country by public transport. What are your thoughts on it please? Any particular place you'd recommend? Make sure the battery(s) are in good condition and well charged, and that diesel doesn't freeze/g...
