Hi Rafa, after a bad experience with Kw*kf*t, I've been to Autocar Repairs on Rosendale Road, SE21 for my last few MOTs and services. They know Bongos and can source the correct parts. Always had good service from them!

Correct, no airbags.

I tried some lube and a wiggle, still a squeak. Then while jabbing away with pliers in frustration the yellow plastic bit separated from the 2 lugs holding it to the back of the wheel (they were already split and bent!). It no longer squeaks! The plastic ring still turns with ...

Steering Wheel Squeak

Hi all!

First post from me but the forum has been a great help to date.

My Bongo is a '96 2.5 TD Auto.

I have an annoying squeak coming from my steering wheel, it is worse when interior temperature is warm (when the Bongo has been sat in the sun).
I've narrowed it down to the yellow plastic part ...
