Re: Painting AFT
I painted my whole van in Rustoleum 7001 earlier this year, and plant to do it again in white next year as i am not that keen on the whole van being grey with some green highlights! Lots of work but cheap and you can get a good finish for a roller. http://s47.photobucket.com/user/puma931/media/Mobil...

Re: That old chestnut: Body kits
Hi, I fitted a VW black plastic bib spoiler to the front bumper. It only cost £25. Take a look at my thread in this section call Retrim and Paint. Cheers Mathew Hello. I am looking for a body kit for my 96 Bongo but they seem to be like gold dust. I've tried a couple of breakers and I am on a couple...

Can you post a pic of you van, and confirm the distance from the top of the wheel arches to the ground. I need to decide what drop to go for. Thanks

£45 per spring plus vat and p&p so £216 plus p&p for a set.
They have previously made springs with a 50mm drop for the Bongo, but can alter the spec as required.

Re: removing bonnet washer jets
Try an do your final coat indoors. I did all my prep outside and used my mates workshop for the final coat which took about an hour to do. The roller finish IMO is good and I have not bothered rubbing down and polishing. Try and treat any rust thoroughly as I how have a few bubbles on the arches so ...

Re: Lowering???
I found a company in Sheffield that will make a set 50mm drop for about £160 plus delivery. I'll dig their details out tomorrow. I might buy a set as the ns rear is about 25mm lower than the os!

or go for a DIY rustoleum paint job using a roller brush. I did mine and the finish is pretty good!
