It is obviously struggling.
Can I repair the diode? Or whatever has gone.

Re: Faulty Alternator?
The charge lamp goes on.
I measured the battery at 12.5v before turning on the engine.
Then measured again when the engine was on at less than 13v. It did go up to 12.9 I think as maximum.
Might it be generating a current, but a low one.

Re: Leisure Battery Draining Starter Battery
Yes it is 'bespoke' lol. It is just the lights and the stereo. There is one wire that goes under the dash and connects to a green fuse next to the standard fuse box.
Another wire comes from the leisure batt wiring and splices into the stereo.
I need to map this out!!

Re: Leisure Battery Draining Starter Battery
OK thanks.
The switch is a dimmer for 240v lights.
I will get an amp meter and do some research. It will be good for me to do some labeling and plan the electrics so I can trouble shoot in the future.
Thanks
Chris

Leisure Battery Draining Starter Battery
Hi all,
Ongoing problem with batteries. When we bought the bongo all was fine. The leisure bat and starter all perfect. However, after a while the starter battery started to drain.
It had the original battery so replaced it with a new one. Then replaced the leisure batt. Like for likes.

Aircon Obsession
Ok, first leak was the accumulator. Part from Bongo spares, easy switch and no leak from there.
Now you say, there is another leak. of course!
Now this one is from a connection to this part
