Re: bongo fuel pump

My thanks go to all who replied to this thread.
My local garage are brill and their only concern was that they were not familiar with the workings of the diesel pump and were a bit worried about taking it apart in case springs and small parts started flying across the workshop.
Anyway I showed them ...

Hi all,
Just had to put my bongo into my local garage as it needs a new radiator.
Whilst they were looking at this they informed me that there was a serious diesel leak coming from the fuel pump.
This is a p reg 2.5 diesel flat top.
The mechanic told me that there is a seal gone underneath a sensor ...

Re: engine cooling fan constantly on

Thanks for the advice guys.
Right here goes, just decided to get off my bum and move the bongo and check which fan is actually on.
And it turns out that it is the fan behind the radiator right at the front of the bongo under the bonnet.
So the question now is how do I stop it from running all the ...

Re: engine cooling fan constantly on

Hi, thanks for the info.
Iv'e just lifted up the drivers seat and turned the ignition to position 2 (just before actually turning over ) and as per normal a fan came on and stayed on.
I looked at the front of the engine and the fan was not spinning.
It appears to be coming from the passenger side of ...
