A big thanks for the pointers on changing the struts, a really easy job with guides on here.
Job done, now to fibreglassing the crushed roof.

Well, I managed to try again today and pushed the roof up while opening and the it seems the strut had seized. The chrome end was rusty and crust formed on it. I can get the roof open to repair the damaged roof box. One question, should the strut be able to be pulled down by hand when the roof is up ...

cheers for the reply. i got ian from japcar imports and he sent me a pic of what i need, he has 1 just so i am gonna make 1 as is just a hard plastic bearing. looks easy enough.

sliding door bearings

hi, guys, been a while since i been on here, so long i forgot my sign in details and had to register again :D

i got my sliding door replaced sometime ago after a respray and the guy made a bollicks it, thats an aside.
anyway he didnt fit the bearings to the slding door bit along the back panel ...
