Hi Sara,

that's where the £3500 quote has come from. I'm sure they would do a splendid job, but it's way more than we can afford to pay.

was going to go with these people when my bongo went hiss,i couldn't find much about them on the net,i don't know your full story but i got in contact with this chap (see my post in head gasket ) if he can not do the job he will give you good advice

did the contract mechanics guy sort your ...

thanks for all the advice so far. if anyone knows of a reputable garage in scotland that will fit an engine bought from bongospares or the like, please can you let me know ?

replacement engine

So instead of telling you our long story of woe, i'll get right to it and ask about getting a replacement engine put in.

We've been quoted £3500 to get it done, it's a 2.5td 95 engine, and looking to get it done for a lot less than that.

Has anyone used these guys or a similar outfit and got good ...
