OK - I found the rear fan isolator down by my right knee as suggested and now I have the rear fan blowing out air, so that little problem is solved. Thanks for the advice there guys!

Heaters should be pushing out hot air. I'd get a specialist to look at it before driving further. Is there evidence of (rust) staining in the header tank?
