Actuator on top of turbo - 2.5TD
Hi, sorry for a basic question but I'm no turbo expert I'm afraid. On the top of the turbo unit there is an actuator with a shiny rod on one side and a vacuum pipe on the other - this vacuum pipe is short and connects to one of the main air pipes on the turbo (I think this is the main air outlet pip...

Re: Touring France
If either the "little yellow train" or the "little red train" means the Train d'Artouste then check before you go - a few days ago the line was still not cleared all the way to the lake - still worth the trip but you don't get so far. Loads of raptors in the Ossau valley particul...

Demist light stuck on - auto a/c
The middle button on the left hand side of the auto a/c controller is to turn on the rapid demist for the front screen. On my Bongo the orange warning light on this button is always on. The switch works normally (i.e. you can turn the demist on and off) but the light stays on. Looking at the wiring ...

Any opinions on Redex Cetane Booster - I ask because Eurocarparts stock it (not Millers) and they have 30% off at the moment making it £8.40 a bottle

Rear wheel arch liners - any ideas?
Hi all just doing some pre-winter cleaning and I have a question about rear wheel arch liners. On both sides at the back I have mudflaps but there's a huge gap behind the wheels which they don't cover (i.e. between the inner edge of the mudflaps and the main body panel in the wheelarch) and muck is ...

Re: Headlight refurbishment steps DO NOT DELETE
I think I've still got the drawings and photos somewhere. They were hosted on my ntlworld webspace but Virgin pulled the plug when they took over. I'll see if I can dig them out and find somewhere to host them. I try to avoid my current webspace for message board links as I'm usually near my bandwi...

Sounds more like the gauge or sender is faulty or disconnected.

Re: AFT roof question
I've got the usual problem with a few screws pulling out of the roof but I can't unscrew the screws from the threaded plugs - is there an easy way to glue the plugs back into the roof with the screws (and therefore roof) still attached?

Re: HELP: Where can I buy BMW clock bulb
Just had the bulb blow again and it turns out a standard 509T bulb fits - I got one from Halfords for £2.50 but you can get LED versions in various colours on ebay etc.
Much easier to find and a lot cheaper than the BMW part which I think is 62131383311 and seems to cost around £10

Re: Leisure Battery Protection
Just a quick question - if you have done the normal circuit swap for fuse 8 to the leisure battery, you will also have moved one of the engine ECUs across. So if you have a low voltage cutout on the LB and it cuts off the supply due to low voltage, will the engine still be able to start? I guess I c...
