Re: Rear spoiler
Mines a 95, don't remember a double skin, just 4 holes and some bolts (the first I had were too long as they go from the inside of the door and *into* the spoiler) The photo in this thread was one I found quite useful: http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=40620&hilit=f...

Re: Rear spoiler
It wasn't *too* bad and there are some other useful threads on here. Tricky bit was measuring & drilling as it goes on a curved surface and think I had to "adjust" a couple of the holes. I'm sure I found a brake light cable in a loom where the wires enter the body in the rubber sleeve ...

Re: Top 5 must haves for bomgo camping?
Bizarrely I've just bought a bigger frying pan. And I do have a habit, when faced with sachets of vinegar etc in places like Wetherspoons of going "ooohh...campervan vinegar!" Oh, Asda do some good melamine mugs & plates, and I do insist on "proper" cutlery - I'm not in...

Re: Camping Chairs
I've got a Directors Chair too, comfy, with it's own little tea/beer/wine shelf
Folded, fits behind the front seats (in my side conversion) with a bungee round it.

Re: tyres
Feeling much better on the 215/65 R15s fitted today. Slight panic when it turned out my bumper was a bit out of alignment so a bit (too) close on the offside  needing a bit of bending of the metal bracket that joins the corner of the wheel arch/bumper, followed by a bit of impromptu realignme...

Re: tyres
Right, booked in for some 215/65/15s all round. The bloke at a large tyre company tried to insist I need higher load rated at £100+ each "despite what i might read on the internet" but they are the same who wanted me to have four new tyres when I went in for a balance to get rid of a wobbl...

Re: tyres
Ah stuff it, I suppose I may as well just go and get some 215/65s all round then.

Re: tyres
I take it the new 215/65/R15s for the back will go on the same rims as the 195/70/R15s I have will they ? Or will I need new wheels ??

Re: tyres
Thanks chaps! I'll look at getting some 215s on the back for now and by the sounds of it, match them on the front when I'm ready for swapping. Sounds like if I get a steel wheel, I could put one of my removed 195s on it if needed as long as I only use it to get me slowly to a garage in the event a r...

Re: tyres
Thanks Simon, lots of numbers in there but I think I geddit :-) Ideally 215/65s on the rear to accompany my 195/70s on the front, probably especially as I've just put the bike rack on for an upcoming trip. Only other question from the factsheet then: "However, despite the manufacturer’s recomme...

Re: tyres
Yeah, don't know why I typed "75".
Anyway, that's how it came from Ian Taylor.
So how does that affect the spare then, if the tyres are different sizes ?
ps, it's an N reg Diesel 4WD.

Re: tyres
Hmmm...I have 195/70/R15 all round, as it came, with a side conversion.
When I have them changed, or sooner, am I just after 215/75/R15 for the back then ?

Re: Nothing happening in North East
As it's "Yorkshire & the North East" (?!) I may well have a run up if there's a meet. I can also offer no mechanical skills but I have made a decent job of some new speakers and a reversing camera :) (Though funnily enough, once I get my bike rack on I may swap it (spoiler mounted) for...
