Re: Time to Say Goodbye

They've not stopped getting them but told me that they are now hard to find in decent condition. I think they have someone in Japan who inspects vehicles they see come up for auction and they are finding that most low mileage vehicles which come up are either not to the condition they would want, or...

Re: Time to Say Goodbye

Yes, if only they had electric lifting roofs, electric blinds, storage radiator amidships, simple but versatile seating for using them as a van, and the same spectacular community following.... they might rival the Bongo in appeal. But, i do like them and bet they're great to drive. I'd agree with ...

Time to Say Goodbye

Hi All, Not been on here much for the past year or so due to family stuff and also the purchase of an old Land Rover (1960 Series 2) which has taken up much of my time. However, the MOT fail sheet for the Bongo a couple of weeks ago revealed a terminal rust problem which I decided was not worth deal...

Re: procedure for repairs after an accident

Surely it's best to try the direct approach first. Get it checked out, get a quote and contact the woman. Worked for us when someone drove into the side of Debs Fiat Panda. Driver paid up £500 and my trusted local body shop did a great job.

Re: Flookburgh Steam Gathering weekend 24 -26tt July 2015

Thanks Jo and Chris from this Dave & Deb (If not the Dave & Deb!).

Always a lovely place to visit and the weather held out for us with the only real rain on the journey home.

Good to meet friends old and new.

Cheers

Noted and thanks Tony
I'll second that. Both Yakkers and the Pheasant were very busy last year on the Sturday of the show and as there is now only one pub then could be even worse this year.

Re: Fuel Consumption

For mixed motoring mine normally does 26 - 27. Just achieved 30mpg for the first time which was mainly the run to and from Stourport. I'm assuming there is no low fuel light as, like you, I've never seen it. But then again tend to fill up after about 300 miles when there should still be at least 10 ...

Re: Seen at The Bash: Tailgate awning, reversible seat etc.

These are £116 at current exchange #justsaying . Hmmmmmm. Now I could be wrong (and please correct me if I ...
