Re: running fridge off leisure battery

thanks. Fridge and battery was brand new a year ago so that's not the problem. Will try turning it off overnight to make it last the weekend.. Solar panels may be the solution - what would I need? Really only using lights, water pump and fridge off leisure battery. No idea of cost or how easy they a...

running fridge off leisure battery

Just wondered how long I can expect my waeco fridge to run off the leisure battery when not on EHU? Imperial Leisure said I should get 48 hours but I have only managed 12-15 hours. Thanks, have parked that way anyhow. Doesn't seem to be getting worse, just a bit gusty. Forecast is for no more than 20 mph, so hopefully will be ok!

strong winds

Just wondering about having the roof up in strong winds. I'm pitched right by the sea and the winds are about 20 mph, feels a bit wobbly and the roof is flapping a bit. I'm presuming it's all a bit sturdier than it feels at the moment? My first outing in weather like this!

Re: using water tank during cold weather

The tank is inside, behind the driver's seat, but I worry that overnight, when there is no heating on, it may get pretty cold.

using water tank during cold weather

I am rather nervously contemplating my first big bongo trip over Easter and wondering about using the water tank. Will it freeze with the really low overnight temps we've been having? I don't want burst pipes!
Advice greatfully received! :?
