Re: welsh bongo bash/meet

Im in Pembrokeshire, and am interested in a Welsh bash.
I'll start looking for suitable sites.
Maybe 2014 we can have a midwales meet. Somewhere central so we can all get to it.

Re: Beautiful Interiors

Aw great thread, and I don't even collect my first Bongo for a couple of weeks  Bit minimalist when I saw it so will need a bit of cosying up but will prob look better at night with the lights on. And I'm a bloke so all style suggestions welcome ;-) http://i1289.photobucket.com/albums/b508/Jer...

Re: awning advice please

fanx so much for responses. Adapter! that makes sense. Bongo-beings are wise and wonderful people.
Bring on more awning weather please! so I can practice putting it up. The Move-light demo video says it takes 5-10mins to put up, so Im making it my personal challenge for 2013 to do it in half an hour.

awning advice please

I had the first practice with the awning on the weekend, and despite the instructions on the Move-light-midi being rubbish, we eventually got it up. But the figure of eight attachment thing, has caused some confusion. Why 2 short lengths? Does one go on the bongo and the other on the cowel with the ...

Re: leaky leak underneath

thankyou
dunno! as i personally didnt get under Bunty! Tho it is bellow behind the drivers seat as you say.
The knight in shining body warmer said pipe was perished, so could it be any of the above?
I just hope the warranty covers it and it is sorted quickly. Spring could happen any day soon!

leaky leak underneath

Oh Dear Oil dripping out underneath from a pipe. I bought Bunty from a garage, so she is still under warranty, and I hope the warranty covers whatever has broken. Theyre not open til Monday of course! A mechanical minded friend, looked underneath. He's not sure whether its engine oil or transmission...

hatch patch tape trim needed

The black tape/trim that is around the hatch opening, is damaged on one side. Does anyone know if this available on a roll. It is like thin felt and aprox 20mm wide. Plan b, is to remove it all and replace with something else.

Re: Beautiful Interiors

Im just finishing my newly acquired bongo. 'Bunty' has hand made seaside inspired bunting. Tailor made pockety organizers behind front seats etc. I recovered the rock and roll bed with Jumbo corduroy, with pirate and seashell cushions. I want to feel like Im at the beach before I even drive anywhere...

Re: bongo back seat belts for babies??

Thankyou all for your replies. I may not bother this year as its already looking too complicated and costly, and if I like my first year of bongoing Im going to do refit for next year, and will have new rock and roll bed. In response to Mr Bear... Seat belts weren't 'a must have', I just thought, I ...
