Re: Overheating issues

Hi hellopablo, did you manage to get to the bottom of this? I ask as I have a near identical problem. I have just go back from a trip into and around the Limousin, France. Got back early hours this morning and all was fine. The van spent the last two weeks up hills and ploughing through the forest o...

Re: France - Breakdown Cover

I have a place in France and over the years found breakdown cover a real pain. You really need to read the small print. Normally the breakdown assistance is not an issue, its the repatriation which,as we found out last year when the wife's 6 year old Renault threw a pistoncan leave you in a lot of b...

Re: Servicing in the Region - list on page 1

Hi, sorry for delay in getting back. Manic life, bla bla bla... Anyhow I have found a garage in Lowestoft, Pakefield Motors who reckon they have serviced Bongo's in the past and even done head changes. They estimate a full service to come to about £280 including parts and VAT. This is about the same...

Re: Servicing in the Region - list on page 1

Any Lowestoft or Great Yarmouth Bongo owners here? I'm looking for a Bingo friendly garage close to home to do my servicing. Have used Andy's Imports over the other side of Norwich before and they are very good but it's a heck of a long way and I'd have to leave the old girl there all week, so I'm l...

Re: Tap problems - please help!

Silly question I know but do you have a plastic water tank with a screw top where the inlet hose goes? it's not screwed up tight is it? This will certainly make the water come out slow. It needs to vent I think. :|

Re: Just got back...

Thanks for the link Mike. I only live about half an hour away but was completely unaware that this was on. All the focus here is on Latitude which is well beyond our budget and a bit too commercial. I might just head over Saturday evening and check it out :)

Re: Riversway Leisure RV M series awning

I managed to source a 2.4 metre length from Norwich Camping & Leisure at a good price. Top place and was assisted by a fellow Bongolier who stuck it on my gutter and had a good old yarn bout Bongos. It's been on there for a week or so now and I don't think it's going to come off...ever :)

Re: Driving in France - Definitive List of Requirements

They can fine on the spot so carry a copy of your insurance certificate, your paper license and if you don't have a photo one, your passp...

Riversway Leisure RV M series awning

When I bought Brigitte last year the cowboy I purchased it from threw in an unused RV M Series awning. I've had a couple of overnighters in her but today I thought; what with the weather being nice, that I would erect it in the garden. All went fairly well till I tried to figure out how to "con...
