Re: 2gether breakdown cover

Thank you - indeed they are all over 10 years so it seems an odd decision. Mine is 15+, so it looks like Gem won't cover it for Europe either (I read of Gem on this forum, but looks like a no-go) It may have to be the AA even though very pricey - though I understand they can be haggled with. Thanks ...

Re: 2gether breakdown cover

I've just renewed with 2gether, but was told I can't upgrade to European cover as the van is over 10 years old.
They suggested I should buy single trip cover from elsewhere for any foreign trips.
Any one else had this problem? Comments and advice welcome!

Re: Eastnor Castle Deer Park Fri 27 - Sun 29 September 2013

OK guys I know I haven't told you about the last Eastnor Castle meet (see below) but here I am planning the next. I've just had the go ahead from the Estate Office for Friday 27 through to Sunday 29 September 2013. Cheap as chips, well £6.50 per unit per night provided we get more than 10 units. No...

Thomas keeps talking about recipes from that book! We'll order him a copy and get cooking. ;)
It's OK, we can get reinforced space hoppers for next year ;-)

I hope Thomas enjoys the recipes (and his new haircut!)

Re: Just got back...

Thanks for the link Mike. I only live about half an hour away but was completely unaware that this was on. All the focus here is on Latitude which is well beyond our budget and a bit too commercial. I might just head over Saturday evening and check it out :) Sorry I didn't get back to the Forum bef...

Re: Thanks

We didn't get to meet you, but as a new Bongonaut just home from my first National bash I would say 'Go for it and enjoy' Good luck in your quest. Comparing notes with others, we all agreed that converting in a small space involves compromise. There is no perfect solution. But we all love our vans :...

Re: Easter Weekend @ The Golden Swan

Greetings Easter folk Sadly Neil & I can't join you after all - Bongo has gone back to Rupert on a breakdown truck. :( All the coolant disappeared - luckily Neil noticed steam and stopped before doing any damage =D> There is a hole in the radiator and the cam seals are leaking. Rupert says he'll...

Re: National Bongo Day New Forest Royal Oak Pub Lunch

Hello again
Thanks to the great people who are organising this.
I'm afraid I've caused confusion (it comes naturally to me) RedZebraHove and Neil & Sheila are one and the same, so we've been double counted in the food list.
Sorry!

Re: Easter Weekend @ The Golden Swan

Hi, sounds fun.
I'll check with t'other half and hope to join you.

I live in Hove now, but used to live in Market Lavington and work in Devizes, so I know the area quite well.
Never been to the Golden Swan though - looks a good pub :)

Re: National Bongo Day New Forest Royal Oak Pub Lunch

Greetings from 'the new kid on the block' I haven't got a profile yet, but I do have a Bongo! I picked it up mid December. Very exciting, and stacks to learn from you guys. My name is Sheila, my partner is Neil and he's trying to get his head round how everything works. So we'd love to join you guys...
