Re: Red Squirrel 24th August - Beef Stew

Sounds good, even though I wouldn't be able to have any, however, it looks like we won't manage this meet as my daughter is moving house around about then :(

Hope you all enjoy it though.

Refurbishing alternators recommendation

Sorry if this has already been asked, but all posts I found were old ones. I am looking for any recommendations for getting our old alternator refurbished. The new one we have is not coping so well and the old one is a pretty good one - apparently!! Understand that with most places postage will be c...

Re: awnings

We had the Vango Kela at Gairloch and it didn't budge an inch. As said, it is pricey but very easy to put up and down.

Re: Inflatable awnings?

Does anyone know if the larger Vango Sapera (£569) inflatable awning would be suitable for a bongo. This model fits gutter heights of between 230-290 Centimetres. Would the increased angle be too much for water to flood the gutter of a bongo (Height 182 centimetres). The slightly increased room ove...

Re: awnings

Just got this.. https://www.vango.co.uk/vango-airbeam/airaway-kela-standard.html again, not cheap, and so far only had a trial in the garden, but very impressed with it. Dead easy to put up after the first try :D Derek We have this one too, used a few times and fairly held its own in strong winds. ...

We have been stung big time recently, so it may be a good idea that once its all up you double check the price with them as we were confronted on leaving about not paying enough.

Re: Hello

Hello all, I'm looking at buying a bongo in the near future and will be having a good read of the forum over the next few days and weeks! However I was wondering if there was anyone in the local area (Aberdeen) willing to let me have a look round their bongo and give me a few pointers? I really wan...
