Re: TIMING BELT MARKINGS V6

Thanks for the diagrams. I'll get them to our mechanic guy tomorrow and if he can work it out from them there'll be no need for PDFs. I'll let you know.

Many thanks.

Re: TIMING BELT MARKINGS V6

I think he's hoping ( and we are too ) that it's just skipped a tooth. If you could send some diagrams that would be so brilliant. My son in-law normally looks after the van but he's down in the Rhondda and we're up in the Outer Hebrides. They're all coming to visit at the end of August - 3 of my gi...

Re: TIMING BELT MARKINGS

Thanks, Mike. Sadly I have a petrol van so even at that price it's no good for me. I live in Lewis in The Outer Hebrides - fancy dropping it over for me?

TIMING BELT MARKINGS V6

HELP!! Van broke down and is in a local garage unable to move. I haven't got a repair manual and he needs to check the timing belt markings before he goes any further. I do not know what I am talking about. I was going to buy a repair manual but the only one O can find on-line is over £70 to buy. An...

ROAD SIGNS

In the corner of the car park behind the Muni Hall in Pontypridd the council have dumped some old road signs. I'm so tempted to go and liberate the one that used to stand on the A470. It's the one that directs people towards Cwm Rhondda / Rhondda Valleys. I probably won't so I thought I might give s...

Re: Fuel Consumption worrying me somewhat. roughly 20mpg

We've got a Mercedes A Class with a Blue Efficiency 2 litre diesel engine and I love watching the electronic dashboard which shows the MPG. The highest I've got from her is 58.6 MPG. Yes .....you read that right, it's so bloody efficient. When we bought the Bongo we considered getting a smaller car,...

He's rebuilt a few vintage Fords so I should imagine so. Give him a ring and have a chat with him, go and have a look at some of his work. You can always say NO!

Re: rusty arches

His company is called Ceri's Car & Commercials and his number is 07508561064 Give him a ring on his mobile and see what he can do for you. I must warn you, though, he's about to make me a Grannie for the 4th time - my daughter's baby is due any day now. But give him a ring and tell him I suggest...
