Thanks very much Dave, I'll have a proper check tomorrow but the temp gauge is always dead centre, I've read on here that it isn't the most reliable gauge in the world though, I could see the coolant level was above minimum so I think I'll go with the water method is it shouldn't be more than 20mm h...

What do I need to buy to top up coolant under the bonnet?

Might be a stupid question (sorry!) but I had a look at the coolant level on my bongo today (the small tank on the RHS under the bonnet?) and the level looked low to me. Looked in the manual to find out what I need to purchase and it isn't clear to me, can I just go into Halfords and buy coolant? I ...

That sounds great Cat thanks very much! I'll give them a ring tomorrow, it says camper on the V5 so fingers crossed. I'll post back on here tomorrow with any news.

Thanks Cavey but that is UK only unfortunately. Their Euro cover starts from £100 for 3 days only (seem a bit steep?)

I too am looking for european breakdown cover on my 18 y o Bongo, does anyone know if 2gether are the only option as most have a 15year old limit.
