Re: wickham festival
Cazzy, no I haven't been before but I have heard many good things about it, i.e. is friendly and relaxed, safe and well run, also I think the line up is quite nice? And it's relatively small, they expect about 4,000. I met some nice people at Shrewsbury festival last year, they go to lots of ...

Many thanks to everyone who replied, and to the last post (it's the hinge bit) I've got one from e bay so it should be on its way.

bonnet stay
The "hinge" that holds the bonnet stay has come off. The bonnet is a recycled part and the "hinge" had been glued. The garage that fitted it say they have been unable to find a part for this. Can anyone tell me where I might find one or something that would do the job? thanks

Re: battery/starting problems
Is it too extreme to consider a battery disconnect switch for winter? I understand this unit needs a bit of space to be installed in. Have tried the solar panel with no success but that was with the small battery..agree about the look of it, felt nervous about putting it on the dash whilst parked in ...

battery/starting problems
After having long had problems with battery drain and thus problems with starting my Bongo when it has been standing for a few days/week I have now been told that my battery is not the correct ampage and that it should be 95 - 100. Engine is 2.5 diesel. Soon after buying the vehicle from a well ...

Re: battery fail
I don't have a leisure battery or the split thing (you can tell I'm a woman, at least I didn't say thingy) but it does occur to me that I do always use the side door closer when the engine isn't running (to let my dog out), the stereo has a cd,MP3 player and digital radio and was already in the ...

Re: battery fail
When I first had the Bongo it had a Mazda battery. I was using it twice a week to go to work, a round trip of 60 miles odd. Plus occasional 150 mile trips. Didn't use it every day. Got a new battery from the dealer who sold the Bongo to me so I believe it was a good one. Kept this pattern of use for ...

battery fail
If I leave my bongo standing for 2 weeks plus then the battery goes dead. This has happened since I bought it three years ago. I've gone through three batteries (!). Spoke to nice dealer who sold it to me and he said, hmmm don't know unless you've left something on. As far as I know I haven't. The ...
