Fixing awning to the Bongo

Hello all. I'm sorry if this has already been covered but I did have a quick look.
I've got an Easycamp Daytona which I attach to the rail using figure of 8 fixings. But when even a light wind gets underneath it pulls the fig 8 away from the guttering and it drops down, bashing the side of the van ...

Re: Drivers side window switch

Thanks both. You were spot on. There was a faulty solder join (old repair) in the black wire between the V clip and the oval rubber thing. It was being held together with tape. Incidentally it was showing 12v at the switch until activation when it dropped to 5v. All sorted now, without having to ...

Re: Drivers side window switch

Thanks for the replies. Yes, the sound from the switch is probably more like a buzz in all honesty.
I've had the door panel off and covered myself in black goo, but I couldn't see any obvious problems with the wiring or any old repairs.
I've also taken the switch apart and I did wonder what that ...

Drivers side window switch

Hi. My drivers side window is stuck up. When I operate the switch a whirring noise comes from the switch itself but the window remains shut. When I try to operate the passenger window from the drivers side nothing happens, not even a whirring noise. The passenger window works from the passenger side ...

Re: Where to source a radiator?

I bought one off Ebay a couple of months ago for about £65 and so far so good! I've had a couple of long runs in the van with no problems.

Re: Front Spots / Corner Sensor

Hi
when I removed the front of the dashboard I found some unattached wiring with a block to attach to a dashboard switch. Any ideas whether this is likely to be the correct wiring?

Was this block to the right of the steering wheel, four wires to a white block, mainly black & red or B&R striped ...

Thanks for your reply and your kind welcome! As it's not a factory fitted one I won't spend too much time on it .

Front Spots / Corner Sensor

Hi
I recently bought my Bongo and it has spotlights fitted to the top of the bull bars, but I can't get them to turn on. I have read that bongos already have the wiring in place for spots, and when I removed the front of the dashboard I found some unattached wiring with a block to attach to a ...
