Re: Cooling fans 2 speed ?

Engine Compartment single speed but the radiator fans are 2 speed - slow normally but if the coolant gets really hot then they run fast.

Re: Day meet. 18th July at Roseisle Forrest, near Kinloss. BBQ!!

We just found out that the grand-kids are on their way to Findhorn for a weeks caravan holiday 8) - so we are definitely heading up to the area today. Weather here looks OK [-o< We shall probably head straight to Findhorn and decide then if we stay there over night or move to Roseisle - so if we go ...

Re: Day meet. 18th July at Roseisle Forrest, near Kinloss. BBQ!!

It depends which forecast you are watching  Saturday evening can be anything from dry through light showers or heavy showers to a full drenching :? I think timing is going to be all important - we may be lucky and the heavy rain will go over in the afternoon and we'll get a great evening [-o< ...

Re: Day meet. 18th July at Roseisle Forrest, near Kinloss. BBQ!!

Was planning to do the Saturday evening but I'm watching the weather forecast - if its p****** with rain then we may well just go for Sunday lunch. I like to put my feet up and watch the sun go down with a nice glass of red wine (or 2) - its not so much fun when the rains dripping of your nose :roll...

hope to see you there

I did come across a R *** TTS last year that was only 2 numbers off mine but that was white.

Re: STARTER CHAOS.

Hello Neil,

If I wasn't expecting to be working late nearly every night this week I would come over.

If you are still stuck at the weekend I should be able to make it over to you.

I'll keep me eye on this thread to see how you get on.

Good luck

Re: ECU information required

Ok that makes life a little easier. The reference may well be 5V - from memory the 20C voltage was about 4 volts. But I did note that the 'bottom' end of the sensor is not zero - it's just a little above, probably to clear the minimum offset for the A/D (probably why its a two terminal sensor) and I...

Re: ECU information required

I'm keeping my eye on this thread - it is progressing very well indeed =D> but I think it's time I contributed a little. When we get the µP program / algorithms decoded it will probably give us the various thresholds / trigger values as register values. Now I’m not sure without checking how many ana...

hi Steve, I still have my 'spare' from my diesel days - never used other than to boil it once when checking out earlier attempts at doing what you are doing so successfully 8) =D> - but are you looking for used ones :?: I was going to keep it for swaps but haven't found anything I need yet - but mor...

Re: coolant flow - (follow up to cooling diagram)

This is great stuff - I agree with what you are coming up with - wish I had time to do this sort of thing  far more interesting than what I normally get to do.

Will be really interesting to find out what is where when you hit 95C. 8)

keep up the good work.
