Re: Got solar - now need a compressor fridge. Recommendation

We have the Dometic /Waeco 3 way, 12 v 240v and gas cannisters, love it. It is very quiet, only down side is the size, it is quite big.

Re: Any Substitute for Lidl Guest Bed?

We have futon shop 'bed in a bag' we got them in a sale very comfy but a bit bulky. We have travelled to southern Spain using self inflating camping mats which I find a bit slippery and need air top up each night.

Re: Travelling with a dog?

Heidi travels in the bongo in a fold up canvas cage which we use as her personal tent/kennel when we camp. The first time I took her out in it I had to stop to make sure she was OK as she was so quiet in the back. We did a week I the forest of dean and she loved it.

Re: Anaesthesia for old dogs

These days both doctors and vets have the ability to put animals under as shallow and for as short a time as is needed, Unlike years ago when anaesthetic meant an overnight stay in hospital. I would be guided by the vet and if the surgery is essential for quality of life. Hope all goes well whatever...
