Starting in 2016, if the world hasn't ended, people who live in Belgium will need to pay road tax. It's something that most countries in Europe do, so not that much different. Visited Hawkshead a couple of weeks ago and was appalled at the daylight robbery carparking charges. The main carpark is now 'private eye' or whatever it's called and £1.80 for up to 1 hr !!!! second mortgage for a few hours, no overnight parking. Hope you are having a great time. We've just got back from France ( motorbike trip ) but definitely planning a Bongo trip - either later this year or definitely next year :D

We'll be in France when the new law comes in. Apparently you can buy the breathalysers for one Euro in petrol stations. No doubt there will be a massive hike in the price in July :evil:

Got there at 12.15. Sam said the weather felt positively tropical compared to Yorkshire 8) Realised all the roads to the front were closed but a very helpful marshall directed us to a nearby carpark - decided NOT to park in the Mayor's spot - in case he/she arrived. I mentioned to my friend at work that i had just acquired a BONGO and she told me about some crazy fun Bongo people at a campsite in Howarth where she went for a friend's birthday party last November , ( she stayed in a pod) - and is booked to go again this year. I'll have a foot in both camps :wink...
