We like coniston hall campsite on the banks of lake coniston,no hookups but a nice location and you can have a campfire and swim in the lake if you fancy it.
Cost us £15 pn when we were last there in may and that's for 2 adults and the dog.
Take a 20 minute walk into the village for a beer.

Campsites in mid Wales
Just had a couple of amazing days in the lakes in our Bongo{ first trip out}and are looking for a recommendation for sites in mid Wales/snowdonia for our next trip.
We like the more simple laid back sites that allow dogs and campfires etc and don't really need EHU,laundry and all that fancy stuff ...

As a rule if you run your nail over it and can feel it then you will prbably need paint, if you can not feel it then a cutting compound should work, you could try Meguiars ScratchX or a harder compond like Meguiars Ultimate Compound, using them though is best to be done by machine,I have been using ...
