Thanks Jilly. No idea what the Insurers are up to as yet but promises of an update tomorrow. P'raps, possibly, who knows.
See you in June.

Re: The Nufbus RIP, p'raps.
Nufbus replacement. this one is not converted, still in original MPV configuration.
Drives well, suspension is smoother, very quiet engine; a bit late in the day to save my hearing, and a much more comfortable ride all round. So far so very good!
We'll see how it goes.
Bye for now.

Re: The NUFBUS
I have just posted the replacement on THE NUFBUS R.I.P.
Had to get another Bongo. We love them and all that goes with them.

Is there any chance you can swop the interior or has it already gone to the breakers?

Re: The NUFBUS
Hi Bongolia.
The annoying thing about retrieving items from the Nufbus was that, as it was being kept in a Police registered compound, owners were not allowed to enter.
Staff at the recovery compound were able only to retrieve personal items. As soon as written-off the Nufbus became the property of the Insurers and they would not allow any other items to be removed; unfortunately we lost some good items.
Not very keen on Insurance company, whoever they were!
New Bongo may have a small rear kitchen; to DVLA requirements. Still to be decided.
Hope to see you at Bash.

New Bongo looks lovely. Where did you find it and what engine variant is it. Hope you have lots of fun with it.

Re: The NUFBUS
Hello Mike.
Got it from SVA Importers Folkestone. Very helpful bunch of peeps.
Its a nice, clean Machine. Had a waxoyl, cambelt, full service; inc all fluids, plugs etc, new tyres and is very clean top to bottom.
Engine is 2.5L V6, so bound to be a bit thirsty. I'll have to be a sedate driver!
Great thing is that it is very quiet; too late to save my hearing, suspension actually rides over crap roads instead of crunching through them. So far, so good. See how it goes.
Cheers old bean.
Hope to see you at the Bash.
