Hi

New bongo owner and I am hoping to move the 3 sliding seats and rails to the rear of the van.
Currently there is a single folding seat at the back but thats easily removed.

My question is ,when I move the rails to the back of the van ,will there be bolt holes already there or will I have to drill new ones ?

Thanks

Do you mean you have a Gull wing seat and a Kitchen unit there presently ?
For the seats to move all the way back you will need the long rails, remove the gull wing leg brackets, there wont be any plastic protection however over the bolt turrets that the gull wing seat is attach to either. There are some pictures and descriptions in the Factsheets for various modifications that can be made.

Thanks g8dhe.

Yes exactly that ,kitchen one side Gull wing seat the other.

I was hoping to simply unbolt my existing short runners ,move and bolt them were the gull wing bracket is.

Don’t fancy drilling new holes mind.

Hi, and welcome to BF. 8)

As Geoff says, your best bet is to get hold of a pair of long runners, they should bolt straight in.

I'm not sure you can just move the short ones back, and long ones will allow full movement of the seat.

The middle seat is well heavy, get a pal to help move it.
