Open Fires
I have been asked to clarify the policy on open fires at the Bash. Lickhill Manor's policy is that open fires are not allowed in any circumstances. This includes firepits, braziers and even "raised platform" campfires. The policy was introduced because of the danger of embers settling on awnings and tents.
The only exception is small barbecues which are allowed providing they are off the ground.
Please respect the site rules, they are there for a reason.

Re: Open Fires
Does this also include BBQs (off the ground) that are kept alight after cooking by adding fuel? Might be worth clarifying.

Just keep yer sausage to hand Jilly.
Re: Open Fires
Why on earth would you do that? A BBQ is for cooking. Once cooking is over, there's no point in adding fuel........unless you are thinking of having a late sausage.Jillygumbo wrote: ↑Fri Jun 15, 2018 11:53 am Does this also include BBQs (off the ground) that are kept alight after cooking by adding fuel? Re: Open Fires
Some people do this as an excuse to keep a fire going without breaking rules.Ian wrote: ↑Fri Jun 15, 2018 5:58 pmWhy on earth would you do that? A BBQ is for cooking. A SuperSoaker and assistant dragging a paddling pool full of water might be as effective
