Turning middle seat, rail pin handy hint

I turned the middle seat yesterday to face the rear, a simple job only complicated by the washer that holds the end of rail pin in place. The nearside one was OK as there was the space to swing a hammer at the end of the pin, not so the offside.

I gave up trying to pop the washer off and got a G clamp on the job, one end on the pin, the other on the outer side of the rail, a couple of turns of the screw and bingo, the pin popped out...
