Re: brake pipes
Got it, but I can't upload it either?
1st job, wd40 ideally overnight
Cut the steel pipe off flush to the top of the nut and use a 6 sided socket to remove nut, watch out as some are 10mm some are 11mm and the odd one will be 7/16" sometimes you have to knock them on with a hammer.
If that rounds it off, Mole grips or stilsons assuming you can get a pair in I couldn't on mine. Then its time for the magic tool the rounded nut removal socket.
Just had exactly the same issue on my Discovery had to do it on both sides of the front brakes.
I would replace the flexi hose at the same time as they are less than £15
Its not difficult just time consuming and having the right tools helps.
Good luck

Re: brake pipes
Take your time, may need to hold the end of the flexi hose still whilst you undo the nut
Re: brake pipes

Re: brake pipes
will keep you posted winchman had to take the wife out yesterday and got heavy rain to day
did borrow a set of callipers and checked the large nut size on the back plate was 23.76mm so got hold of 24mm socket so that's one problem sorted on to the next
